About Us

DropTyne Fishing Team is an amateur sport fishing team in its second year participating in king mackerel tournaments as a member of the Southern Kingfish Association(SKA). The Taylor Family (team members) is from Sanford, North Carolina. Home base for fishing is Cedar Point, North Carolina. The team fishes Division 1 and Division 9 for  SKA – sanctioned tournaments. Our mission is to show others how competitive sport fishing can be a successful, fulfilling family activity.
